Hitachi GMA-4020B Multi-Format DVD-Writer |
HLDS, a joint venture between Hitachi & LG Electronics, has announced that it will release the first DVD-R/RW & DVD-RAM Multi-Format DVD-Writer in January 2002. No price has yet been announced but they claim that the drive will be cheaper then the existing DVD-Writers currently available!
It will not be totally "Multi-Format" as it does not support the DVD+R/RW standard!
