Creative Nomad Portable MP3 Player
Creative's answer to the Rio from Diamond is called: NOMAD

The NOMAD comes in two versions:

  • NOMAD 32 with 32 Mb RAM and provides up to 1 hour of CD-quality audio and 2 1/2 hours of voice-recording with adjustable bitrate encoding.
  • NOMAD 64 with 64 Mb (32 Mb onboard/32 Mb as a removable media upgrade card). It provides up to 2 hours of CD-quality audio and 4 hours of voice-recording with adjustable bitrate encoding. As an extra it also includes a fully functional digital FM tuner for live music!

A separate "docking-station" (see picture on the right) is used to communicate with the NOMAD.
