Only a few CD-Readers are able to "copy" these errors (especially the recent Teac CD-ROM's & CD-Writers). It will always take a lot of time to complete (1 to 8 hours)!
BlindRead & BlindWrite or DiscDump can also be very handy copying this protection.

| The CD is damaged on purpose. Most CD-Readers are not able to "copy" these kind of errors and will stop reading the CD.
The topside of the Settlers CD#1 has been "damaged", a ring (about 1 mm) is clearly visible at about 1/3 of the outside of the CD. |
