| Pioneer DVR-A03 CD/DVD-ReWritable Combo |
| Pioneer has announced that it will ship the new Pioneer DVR-A03 combo by the end of May for US$ 995, this is 50% cheaper then that previously announced price of US$ 1995!
The drive is a combination of a CD-ReWriter & DVD-ReWritable which offers up to 4.7GB of storage capacity per DVD side and is able record DVD-R media at 2x speed (an industry first).

The DVD-RW & Double-Sided DVD media features will not be available at the time of shipment but will be added at a later stage!
Apple is one of the first to use this drive in their upcoming SuperDrive which they will make available for their high-end Power Mac 733 systems.

A few days ago we received a box from MMore International [The Netherlands] which contained their complete CD-Recordable media range, including their new 24x speed CD-R80 media! Since over a year all MMore CD-R products are made in India by Moser Bear so they are not using RiTEK or CMC anymore for manufacturing their CD-R media.
